A small, dark and dated one bedroom flat in Kentish Town is converted into a modern, spacious and light filled apartment. The south facing horizontal window informed the brief for the project – framing the views of the natural space outside and transporting it inside. Dark, metal cabinets and fittings were replaced with light, white alternatives to enhance the natural light pouring into the room and to expand the open plan living space created. Pops of colour pepper the interior, complimenting the natural materials used throughout the space and a timber staircase and balustrades add warmth and texture to the apartment.
