Bowyer House, a 1930s residential block on Mill Row, Haggerston has been transformed into an open plan, duplex apartment for a young family.

A new opening and stair provide access from the original flat into the loft space above. Rather than simply partitioning the space above, a series of embedded volumes tucked beneath the rafters provide a bathroom and a small bedroom whilst the remainder of the space forms the master bedroom.

A singular element of joinery, monolithic in its appearance, starts in the lounge and ultimately forms the wardrobe in the master bedroom, partitioning the space.

Our Ash Ecofix is used throughout creating a lightness of touch, complementing the bright blue joinery element.
